On a sunny Friday in downtown Jackson, the 3rd Annual Dogs for Charity Hot Dog Eating Competition brought together a lively crowd, hungry contestants, and a whole lot of heart.
Presented by Pure Michigan Realty Group @ C21 Affiliated, The Mortgage Chicks – Nicole & Monica (Fueled by M3 Mortgage), and the Jackson Downtown Development Authority, this annual event raises funds for local Jackson-area nonprofits and animal welfare organizations.
With an enthusiastic crowd, epic hot dog consumption, and incredible local support, this year’s event raised $2,400 for three amazing organizations - Cascades Humane Society, Jackson County Animal Shelter and Animal Control, and Jackson Interfaith Shelter.
We’re incredibly grateful to our contestants, sponsors, vendors, and everyone who cheered us on. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
This event is more than just hot dogs — it’s about giving back to the community we love. Dogs for Charity is one of our favorite ways to support local organizations doing vital work across Jackson, especially those helping our four-legged friends and neighbors in need.
See You Next Summer!
We’re already thinking about how to make next year’s event even bigger and better. Want to be the first to know about dates, sponsorships, and registration?
